I first met Roy in the spring of 2007, when he and his family came into Legacy Christian Center. That day I knew that he had a deep love for God. As time went on and we learned of his ongoing battle with cancer, it made every Sunday all the more special to see him push through to be at service. There was one special moment during worship that I remember. The worship team was singing "Say The Name" and when i got to the part in the song that goes; He'll make a way out of no way: just then I looked at Roy and he looked at me. It was one of those moments in the Lord that was so special. The Lord was ministering to him in that song, he nodded and smiled as he took that to heart. That blessed me that day. I truly miss seeing him praise and worship because it was always from his heart.
